Anyone who has been to Salt Spring Island in late summer understands the vast quantities of blackberries that grow on our island paradise. Blackberries make a great infusion that we apply to the natural Fleur de Sel crystals to create a finishing salt that has a bright red colour and adds a great flare to the presentation of food. Our Blackberry salt is great on seafood, like scallops, prawns and white fish - the sweetness from the blackberries complements that same quality in the seafood itself. This is also a great salt for scones and on ice cream!
